My group and I presented our first pitch for our film opening today, I think it was pretty good. We pitched our movie as some sort of dystopian horror/thriller. It starts of with a average joe tied to chair in an aboandonded car park. He/she is then set free by a creepy man in rugged clothing who dumps a bunch of exposition on the protagonist. The actual dialogue or content of our two minute clip is still not completely decided, but our ideas are slowly starting to take shape. This week I'm also going to go out and gather some shots of the car park we're thinking of using, and also approach a friend I believe would be perfect for the role of the unhinged man. We should also have a clear idea of what our storyline is and how the dystopian world works.
